Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms," "TOS") carefully before using the thriftedtreasure.net website and services operated by Thrifted Treasure LLC ("us," "we," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Site.

1. Use of the Site

Eligibility: By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.
Account Responsibility: If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
Prohibited Uses: You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

2. Intellectual Property

Content Ownership: The Site and its original content, features, and functionality, including all text, images, logos, and the unique combination of the same ("Site Content"), are and will remain the exclusive property of Thrifted Treasure LLC and its licensors.
Trademarks: "Thrifted Treasure LLC" and its associated logos are trademarks of Thrifted Treasure LLC. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.
User-Submitted Content: By submitting content (such as product reviews or blog comments), you grant Thrifted Treasure LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content throughout the world in any media.

3. Products and Purchases

Product Information: We strive to be as accurate as possible in the description of the Thrifted Treasure items we sell. However, because our inventory consists of pre-loved, vintage, and refurbished items, we do not warrant that product descriptions, photographs, or other content are error-free.
Condition of Goods: All items are sold in an "as is" condition, with the item's unique characteristics and wear noted in the product description. Minor imperfections, consistent with the age and history of a Treasure Chest item, are to be expected and are not considered defects.
Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person.
Pricing: All prices are subject to change without notice.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all products and services delivered to you through the Site are provided 'as is' and 'as available,' without any warranties, express or implied. Thrifted Treasure LLC does not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Thrifted Treasure LLC, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, or contractors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our Site after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

Return and Refund Policy

Welcome, fellow Treasure Hunters! We want you to be absolutely thrilled with the unique items you find in our Chest. Since our items are often vintage, unique, or custom-refurbished, we have specific guidelines to ensure fairness for both our customers and our curated inventory.

1. Our General Return Policy

We accept returns on items within 14 days of delivery for a refund or store credit, subject to the conditions below.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging (if applicable).
Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Non-Returnable Items: Due to their delicate or custom nature, the following items are generally not eligible for return (unless damaged in transit—see Section 4):
- Items marked "Final Sale" or "As-Is Project Piece."
- Digital products, gift cards, or services.
- Vintage Collection, (unless the wrong item was received)
- Earrings or other personal items for hygiene reasons.
- Custom or personalized items (including pieces painted specifically for a customer).

2. How to Initiate a Return

Contact Us: To start a return, you must contact us at customers within 14 days of receiving your item, stating your order number and the reason for the return.
Return Authorization: We will review your request and, if approved, send you a Return Authorization number and shipping instructions. Do not send your item back without this authorization.
Shipping: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

3. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
We reserve the right to deny a refund if the item is returned damaged due to poor packaging or if it is determined that the item was damaged after delivery.
Restocking Fee: A [Insert Percentage, e.g., 10%] restocking fee may apply to cover the costs associated with processing and relisting the unique item.

4. Damages, Defects, and Inaccurate Descriptions

We take extreme care in inspecting and packing every find, but accidents happen!

Damage in Transit: If your item arrives broken or significantly damaged, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery). You must provide clear photographs of:
1. The damaged item.
2. The packaging, including the exterior box and interior materials.
- We will file a claim with the shipping carrier and work with you to provide a full refund or store credit.
Pre-existing Wear: Please note that pre-loved items naturally show signs of age (patina, minor scratches, fade). These are considered part of the item's unique character and are always documented in the product description and photos. These characteristics are not considered defects.

5. Exchanges

Because every item we sell is a one-of-a-kind Treasure Hunt find, we generally do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to swap an item, please follow the return process (Section 2) for your unwanted item and place a new order for the item you prefer (provided it is still available).
